The clubs newest ambassador is sure to be a hit.

Henrik Larsson’s iconic status as Celtic Park’s most beloved striker is set to come under serious scrutiny after Lurgan Bhoy Jay Beatty has put pen to paper with the Scottish champions this afternoon.

Jay is certain to be a hit – he scored the best goal last season with this thunderous hit – and he already knows his way around the ground having spent quite a bit of time at Parkhead.

He also had his own clothing range launched , there’s no end to his talents.

Right now, his new move will see Jay having more action as an ambassador than striker but if Ronny Delia ever needs a goalscorer then he knows where to look.

The worlds most famous Celtic fan has seen his dream move come through thanks to the great work by the Celtic’s foundation’s ‘Ability Counts’ programme that offers weekly coaching and initiatives to develop inclusion, diversity and friendship between children.

On his new role, Jay said “It’s going to be brilliant. I am going to work hard for the Foundation because I love Celtic. I’m going to make sure that I do all the Celtic fans proud.”

Martin Beatty, the father of Celtic’s new signing said it best “today is a very proud and emotional day for our family and we are honoured and humbled that Jay is an ambassador for Celtic FC Foundation. He really is a special Bhoy for a special club.”

Good luck to him but we know that he’s going to be a massive success.
