You’d have to wonder why Jeremy Guscott never went into politics, because the former England and Lions rugby superstar turned bland TV pundit has the concept of saying everything while saying nothing down to a fine art.
Consider the following excerpt from a Q&A on the BBC website earlier this week ahead of the start of the Six Nations this weekend.

Guscott’s reply, though, artfully manages to heap plenty of praise on all those four, while also heaping even more praise on the by then unnamed players who will be filling their boots.
