JOE’s talking sports heads are back and better than ever (maybe) with some football chat that’s hot off the presses. There’s been plenty to consider this week, which sees the pod turn its attention to a few more serious topics, including the attitudes towards homosexuality in football with the news that Thomas Hitzlsperger has come out, but felt the need that to wait until he was retired to do so.
Apart from that, the panel also turn their attention to the pressure piling on David Moyes at Old Trafford, whether or not Fergie should be taking a back seat from showing up the stadium, and if the squad can be overhauled in the next few weeks during the transfer window. The panel cast their vote for the Ballon D’Or winner, and make their case for which of the lads they think deserves the big prize.
They also get a chance to chat with the Match of the Day host Gary Lineker, who gives his great opinion on a range of topics including Moyes and Fergie, as well as the Thomas Hitzlsperger news, whom Gary will be interviewing on Football Focus this week.
