I should be so unlucky to have a ticket to see Kylie Minogue, only to have the pop queen cancel due to illness.
That was the prevailing attitude last Sunday when the pop icon had to cancel her gigs in Dublin and Belfast but, just like she promised, her fans won't have to wait long to see her in action.
In a statement on Twitter on Thursday morning, Kylie said: "I'm so pleased to say we now have dates for the rescheduled Irish shows! Dublin will now be on 3rd December & Belfast on the 5th December. Contact your ticket provider for full information. Can’t wait to see you all!"
Here's hoping that a pesky throat infection doesn't flare up again and that people will get to to bop away to 'The Loco-Motion' on a cold December night.
All original tickets will remain valid for both gigs.
