Mike Phillips is hoping to get back in the team for the crucial third Test, but after some felt he was eaten alive by a Wallaby in Brisbane, the Lion was nearly eaten this time by a crocodile.

The Welsh scrum-half had a difficult day at the office in the opening Test, though he was up against one of the form players in world rugby in Aussie scrum-half Will Genia and will hope to get a chance to even the score this weekend.

He also picked up a knock but is hoping to win back the number nine jersey for the make-or-break game, though pictures from Noosa today would suggest he was again putting his health at risk.

Some of the players went to the zoo, with the combative Lions player in jovial form. Just as well it wasn’t a real life crocodile.

He also seemed to be having a great time with a young kangaroo, but hopefully he will have the last laugh with the Wallabies this weekend.
