Looks like Nigeria will have a lot of fans at this summer’s World Cup…
A lot of the World Cup kits are look especially nice, and there’s more than a few we wouldn’t mind getting our hands on, but many think that Nike has outdone themselves with their Nigeria effort.
The numbers back that up. According to a report by FourFourTwo, over three million orders have been made for the green Nigeria home jersey, which doesn’t go on general sale until next week.
The jersey is undeniably slick, with white arrows pointing down across bright green stripes.
From a footballing perspective, Nigeria face a very difficult task in getting out of their group this go around. They share Group D with Argentina, Croatia and Iceland. No pushovers, to say the least.
