WATCH: Brilliant reaction from Paul O’Donovan when his brother Gary says they’ll be training tonight

The ol’ stink eye.

Olympic medallists Gary and Paul O’Donovan took home gold at the World Rowing Cup in Lucerne at the weekend, where they raced in the lightweight men’s double sculls A final.

After winning first place, the Cork brothers were interviewed live on RTÉ television, which saw Paul give his brother Gary the best look we’ve seen on telly in a long while.

Upon being asked about the win, Gary O’Donovan confirmed that there is definitely no rest for the wicked – as he intended on getting back in the boat that very evening to pick up where their training schedule left off.

Upon hearing this, Paul furrowed his brow quite dramatically, letting Gary know with one look where he can put his training schedule. It was all captured perfectly by an RTÉ cameraperson, only for the general public to witness it all on the evening news.

Beautiful stuff.

Two months ago, the Cork brothers became the subject of a moving mini-documentary depicting their journey to the 2016 Olympics.

The documentary series, titled Way Of The Wildcard, releases a new short video every week, each one telling the story of unexpected athletes succeeding in the most unlikely circumstances.

The piece, which is 13 minutes long, can be viewed here.
