Paddy Power have started taking bets on Conor McGregor’s Game of Thrones appearance

The markets are open.

Earlier, we brought you further details about Conor McGregor’s upcoming appearance on the 7th series of Game of Thrones, and now Paddy Power have started taking bets on the Dubliner’s fate.

McGregor is available at 1/2 to transfer his MMA skills to the screen and kill someone. Given the fact that it’s the bloodiest show on television, it’d be a bit of a waste to have the world’s most famous fighter and not have him tear someone from limb to limb.

With that in mind, the odds of McGregor himself being killed on the show are a short 4/5.

“As no stranger to physical violence Conor McGregor will feel right at home in Westeros,” said a Paddy Power spokesman.

“The Dubliner looked untouchable in his last outing against Eddie Alvarez but his odds on meeting his maker on Game Of Thrones would suggest that it won’t all be plain sailing for the all-conquering Irishman.”

If you want to really throw your money away caution to the wind, you can get odds of 10/1 on McGregor appearing fully naked on the show.

With Dana White appearing to confirm McGregor’s appearance on the show, Watchers on the Wall also received information from an unidentified source who suggested that McGregor will play a pirate belonging to Euron Greyjoy’s crew on the ship, ‘Silence’.

The cameo, the source says, will be a brief one and it won’t be a speaking part.
