Photos have emerged on social media of a hole where a bullet entered an equestrian centre at the Rio Olympics.
The bullet entered through the wall of a press room near Deodoro Stadium, and according to some reports, narrowly missed an Olympic official from New Zealand. Nobody was hurt.
Security are currently investigating the incident, though what happened is as of yet unclear. NZOC communications manager Ashley Abbott said members of the New Zealand team at the venue were being contacted to inform them of the incident, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.
