How have we never spotted this before now?

As possibly the greatest Irish rugby player and one of the all-time great Irish sportsmen, it is a surprise that unlike, for example, his rugby colleagues Eoin Reddan (E from Entourage) and Paddy Jackson (Eoin McLove) that nobody has come up with a good lookalike for Brian O’Driscoll. That was until this evening, when Sean Cronin retweeted a post from Rob K (@crookedhooker) on Twitter that pointed out O’Driscoll’s uncanny resemblance to RTE’s David Davin Power back when he rocked a big curly head of hair and a thick moustache back in the 1980s.   If you do a Google Image search for Davin Power you’ll see that the modern day RTE presenter bears little or no resemblance to O’Driscoll but such is the likeness of the 1980s version to the Leinster and Ireland centre that you’d swear he must be a long-lost uncle or something. Uncanny.
