PIC: Coach Kavanagh confirms that Conor McGregor defied his advice ahead of Diaz rematch

You have to admire The Notorious’ determination.

There’s no doubt about it, UFC 200 is going to be an absolute cracker, with Jose Aldo taking on Frankie Edgar for the interim featherweight title, while Conor McGregor busies himself with an exact rematch against Nate Diaz.

We say exact rematch, because McGregor has insisted that the pair duel again, on July 9, at 170Ibs, rather than at the highly suggested 155Ibs.

One man who falls into the latter category of advice is McGregor’s coach, John Kavanagh, who has tweeted this message, explaining both men’s determination ahead of one of the most anticipated fights in MMA history.

All eyes set for July 9, then. It’s going to be something else.
