Totally worth it.
Hands up if you’ve ever been in this situation before. You’ve just made plans to spend some quality time with your partner but as soon as you’ve made official plans, you instantly remember that there’s a fantastic match on at the same time.
Yep, we’ve all been there.
What do you do? My tactic involves a two-pronged approach. The first stage usually involves a fiendish scheme to score some brownie points before dropping the harsh truth bomb that I’d rather watch a game than go shopping with herself.
The second stage involves some form of grovelling unless it’s a REALLY important match, in that case I feel confident in my choice because not even a fecking meteorite would stop me from going to watch a cracking game.
