Mayo suffered more heartbreak at the weekend when they lost out to Dublin in the All-Ireland Football Final by the narrowest of margins.
Fans of both teams can be immensely proud of their performances as they served up a spectacle which befitted the occasion. The only disappointing thing about the game is that there had to be a loser and on this occasion, it was the westerners who retreated back across the Shannon without Sam tucked under their arm.
Whether you were a jubilant Dublin fan or a crestfallen follower of the men in green and red, there was only one destination in mind for your celebrations/mourning… Copper Face Jacks.
