Apart from Gordon D’Arcy of course, it doesn’t suit him at all… just joking Gordon.

If you follow the official Irish rugby account on Twitter of late, you’ll have noticed that they have taken to tweeting separate pen pictures of the backs and forwards as a way of announcing the team, as they did when revealing the team selection for the Wales game a little earlier today.   Having spotted this, Derek Troy decided to have a little fun by doctoring the picture to give everyone Gordon D’Arcy beards and kindly allowed us to share it on the site. irelandbeards Although he modestly played down his own work (rough as a bear’s hole as Derek put it), we got a great kick out of it and couldn’t help but notice that the addition of yeti-like facial hair seems to suit Conor Murray in particular.
