We all know that one of the greatest TV characters of all time, The Wire’s Bunk Moreland, is a massive fan of St Patrick’s Athletic.
Actor Wendell Pierce has already tweeted his support to the Pats players ahead of this Sunday’s FAI Cup final against Derry City and it seems like his fellow Saints have responded in kind.
We really hope that TV show characters being re-imagined as League of Ireland footballers becomes a thing now.

We absolutely love The Wire here at JOE but we don’t know how the Bunk might react to this because as we all know, he is strictly a suit and tie motherf*#er.
