Marty Morrissey has been immortalised.
A young pumpkin artist from Blackrock, Co. Dublin has paid tribute to his hero, Marty Morrissey, by carving his face into a pumpkin.
It’s fair to say that he couldn’t have chosen a better model. Marty’s face lends itself so well to pumpkin-illustration that if you stood this pumpkin next to Marty Morrissey, we honestly could not tell the difference.
Speaking to JOE, the artist said “He’s done so much for GAA, the least I could do is carve his likeness on a winter vegetable.”
