The legendary actor was found hanged in August this year.
Robin Williams had no illegal drugs or alcohol in his system when he died, his official post mortem has revealed.
Williams was taking medication in ‘therapeutic concentrations’ but had nothing else in his body before he took his own life.
Shortly before his death it had been revealed that Williams was suffering from Parkinson’s Disease.
US President Barack Obama paid tribute to Williams, saying he “made us laugh. He made us cry.
“He gave his immeasurable talent freely and generously to those who needed it most – from our troops stationed abroad to the marginalised on our own streets.”
