Conor McGregor’s rise through the UFC is matched only by that of his friend Ronda Rousey. Rousey is the Women’s Bantamweight Champion in the UFC, and is known for disposing of almost all of her opponents within the first round.
Brendan Schaub, Rousey’s ex-boyfriend and a heavyweight MMA fighter, told Joe Rogan that he was too much man for her. The fighter went on to say that “I’m not the man for her. She needs someone who’s going to take a backseat.”
We’re going to go out on a limb here and say that whatever ended the relationship between Schaub and Rousey, it was probably not that he was ‘too much man’ for her.
We all know how our friends can sound in a WhatsApp group chat after a break (‘I didn’t even like her anyway, guys…’). Well Brendan, that’s how you sound.
It is possible, of course, that Schaub (who has five losses on his record) might just be jealous of Ronda’s ever-increasing fame. Who knows?
