The incident occurred on 16 December.
Wayne Rooney’s mugshot has been released following his arrest for ‘public intoxication and swearing’ last month.
The former England captain – who moved to the USA to play for Major League Soccer’s D.C. last year – was detained by the Metropolitan Washington Airport Authority at Dulles International Airport after spending a number of days in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
He was later released on the promise he would attend a future court date after being arrested. He paid a $25 fine and $91 costs on 4 January, according to the records.

A spokesman for Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office confirmed Rooney was taken into custody “on a charge of public intoxication stemming from an arrest by the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Police”.
The spokesman added: “He was later released on a personal recognisance bond.”
Along with court documents, his mugshot has now been released following his arrest.
The incident comes after Rooney was convicted of drink-driving in the UK in September 2017 when he was caught driving a Volkswagen Beetle while nearly three times the legal limit. He was banned from driving for two years and ordered to perform 100 hours of unpaid community service.
Rooney signed a three-and-a-half year deal with the MLS side in June 2018, lifting the team from the bottom of their division to the first round of the play-offs in his first season.
