Where will you be watching the Euros?

The Thinking Drinkers, made up of award-winning drinks writers and comedy performers Ben McFarland and Tom Sandham, and Farah Menswear reviewed 2000 pubs across the UK and Ireland in order to find the best places to watch this summer’s football.

The overall winner was a pub by the name of The Water Poet in Spitalfields, London – but the best pub in Ireland to watch Martin O’Neill’s men is The Back Page in Phibsborough, Dublin.

Of the pub, Sandham said: “Our research involved more than just counting the number of screens, we wanted to offer fans something different to the sports bar norm.”

“The Back Page is worthy of any style conscious fan and we know where we’ll be for the opening match.”

Based on Cathal Brugha St in Dublin, The Living Room was number four on the list. Belfast was also represented twice in the top 25 with The Hudson Bar and The Errigle.
