You’ll Never Walk Alone.

The 2015/16 season has been a notableĀ one for Liverpool fans. On the field, there has been a seismicĀ upswing in the theirĀ performances asĀ JĆ¼rgenĀ Klopp has guidedĀ his sideĀ to two cup finals and some impressive league wins.

Victory against Sevilla in the Europa League final will see Liverpool qualify for the Champions league, but as we all know, events off the field have been far more important.

After 27 years of waiting, the families of the 96 people that were killed in the Hillsborough tragedy have been vindicated in their search for the truth.

Following this decision and the removal ofĀ variousĀ legal reasons, BBC2 decided toĀ airĀ Daniel Gordon’s incredibly powerful and movingĀ documentary on Hillsborough for the veryĀ first time on UK and Irish television.

While it’s a very difficult watch, the response was overwhelmingly positive.
