He has tickets for the game but he plans to miss it in aid of his wife’s chosen charity.
Sinéad Ryan has got in touch with us to tell us that her father – an avid Irish rugby fan – plans to give up his tickets to Ireland’s second ever victory over New Zealand this Saturday for a very good cause.
Bidding will close at 4pm this Thursday – let’s try and get it over its current total of €500.
“He’s aware of the demand and sees the opportunity to raise some money for my Mum’s chosen charity – the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre,” she tells JOE.
“So, I’ve two great tickets on offer. East Stand, Premium Level on the 22.
“The latest bid is €500 total – but the more we can raise for the DRCC the better. If someone out there would like to make a better offer, drop a line to [email protected]. Bidding closes at 4pm this Thursday.”
