Your favourites are returning along with some new shows.
Sadly the Irish summer is coming to an end, those three days of sunshine were great, which means that all of us will be spending our evenings in front of the TV. It’s either that or risk the rain, easy choice really.
TV3 have just unveiled their Autumn schedule and there’s plenty here for everyone. These titles caught our eye.
Matt Cooper will be talking over all 48 games of the Rugby World Cup with Peter Stringer, Keith Wood, Shane Jennings and Malcolm O’Kelly in studio as Ireland try to lift the Webb Ellis trophy for the very first time.
The Sin Bin is a new entertainment and magazine show that will be presented by ‘Off the Ball’ host Joe Molloy and Andrew Maxwell. Every step of Ireland’s campaign in England is sure to be followed on this show and it’s a must for rugby fans during the World Cup.
The big hitters are back also as Champions League and Europa League will continue to be broadcasted by the station but with a new face on the panel. Former Liverpool and Blackburn manager Graeme Souness is the latest name to join Tommy Martin and co in studio.
UFC fans will also have plenty to watch over the next few months, the station have delayed coverage of Conor McGregor’s fight with Jose Aldo, while the ‘Off the Ball‘ team will be featuring in a few interesting documentaries with Roy Keane, Jim McGuinness and Padraig Harrington all lined up.
Moving away from sport and the station are continuing their commitment to making home-produced content in 2016, 2700 hours of programming will be filmed in Ballymount, and here’s what’s lined up.
The critically acclaimed Red Rock returns this evening while the success of the stations flagship morning show, Ireland AM, will be rolled out over the weekends with Saturday AM and Sunday AM, presented by Anna Daly, Simon Delaney and Ivan Yates.
New faces like Lilly Higgins, Conor Pope, Pamela Flood and Brian Ormond will be joining more familiar ones like Keith Barry, Jonathan McCrea, Lucy Kennedy, Donal MacIntyre, Matt Cooper, Simon Delaney, Ivan Yates and Vincent Browne in front of the camera.
Big hitters like The Seven O’Clock Show, X-Factor, Downton Abbey, The Great Irish Bake Off, Britain’s Got Talent, Celebrity Big Brother, an Irish version of Googlebox and Take Me Out will be returning alongside some new content such as Vincent Browne: Investigates Gerry Adams, The Undateables and Conor McGregor’s Ultimate Fighter.
