Football friend.
There are so many things about Jay Cartwright from The Inbetweeners that we want to believe. Did he really take a pedalo out and head off to Africa? Did he jump over those five lorries on Blue Peter and did his dad use to play poker with Danny Dyer and the Kray Twins?
We believe them all.
One thing that we definitely believe about James Buckley’s most famous character is that he once played for West Ham. The man is clearly a football genius, especially since he completed Championship Manager in a week before being offered a full-time role with the FA.
After all, he did take Woking from the Conference to the Champions League in six seasons.
Despite this incredible achievement, it seems that he’s still best remembered for one thing.
