If looks could kill…
Manchester United’s recent ‘revival’ came to an end this afternoon after they suffered a 1-0 loss to West Brom at the Hawthorns.
Juan Mata’s first-half dismissal had a big bearing on a game that was settled by Salomon Rondon’s second-half strike, but the visitors never looked like scoring and went down with something of a whimper.
The defeat dampened the mood of Manchester United fans, who had been upbeat after last week’s victory over Arsenal and progress in the Europa League.
