‘335 bags down the toilet!’
Tyson Fury has taken a joking swipe at Drake after the pair both managed to lose eye-watering sums of money on the Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury fight.
His brother Tommy defeated his long-time rival at the Diriyah Arena in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia, in one of the most anticipated bouts of recent years, extending his unbeaten record to nine from nine. Despite his brother beating Jake Paul, Tyson Fury managed to lose £100,000 on the fight.
The heavyweight said he had been sure that Tommy would “absolutely deck” Jake, so placed a huge bet on this to happen. But the fight went the distance of eight rounds, with Tommy winning on split decision. One judge scored the fight 75-74 to Jake and the other two scored it 76-73 to Tommy.
Tyson has consoled himself though with the knowledge that someone else managed to lose much more money on the fight – Drake. The rapper had placed a huge $400,000 on Jake to win the bout, with the potential of a $1,440,000 payout had this happened.
Afterwards, Tyson called out Drake for flushing “335 bags down the toilet.”
Speaking to BT Sport, he laughed: “It looks like Drake lost his money!”
After revealing his own failed bet, he said him and Drake were “two losers!”

Jake’s defeat is the latest example of the supposed ‘Drake curse’ striking, and even the YouTuber was left ruing the fact that the Canadian had placed a bet on him.
He joked in his press conference after the fight: “F***! This is Drake’s fault! Drake, bro, why did you do this to me?”
