Video: Austin Healey successfully kicks a ball through a tyre and rattles Craig Doyle in the backside

It's no football in the groin but it still had to hurt.

It’s no football in the groin but it still had to hurt.

Most of you reading this have probably heard of ‘Red Arse’, a term given to a form of punishment after a game of football in which the victim has a football or footballs struck at his or her backside.

It pretty much does exactly what it says on the tin really.

It’s traditionally associated with football but has been adapted by other sports, as was the case in rehearsals for Rugby Tonight on BT Sports this evening.

Host Craig Doyle bravely put his arse on the line as an added incentive for Austin Healy to complete the tyre challenge and he soon lived to regret that bravery as Healey sent a beauty through the tyre and onto Doyle’s bottom from about 20 yards away.

Good job he didn’t let Brian O’Driscoll have a go too by the way; he would have sent him into the middle of next week.
