Chris Hadfield recently donned a MARC helmet and picked up a hurley under the watchful eyes of hurling legend Terence ‘Sambo’ McNaughton…

A few months ago, Chris Hadfield dropped in to Na Fianna GAA Club in Glasnevin, Dublin, for a look around and to find out a little more about the GAA in general. While he was there, Chris made sure to have a go at hurling and it looks like the experience stuck with him... Recently, Terence ‘Sambo’ McNaughton invited Chris out for a spot of hurling and in fairness to the former astronaut he wasn’t half bad. Check out Chris’ hurling attempt in the video above.
