South African forward Jannie du Plessis could find himself in hot water after this incident with Australia’s Stephen Moore from the weekend.
The Springboks are gearing up for a title decider against the All Blacks this weekend and if beating the All Blacks with a bonus point and depriving the visitors of one themselves was not a tall enough order, they may have to do so with du Plessis if this is investigated.
The incident with Moore occurred during the Springboks comfortable 28-8 victory over the Wallabies.
Du Plessis is no stranger to playing the game on the edge, as David Wallace will testify to from a few years ago.
