Maxie Hill is from Meath and JOE is very jealous of this man because he’s done something we’d love to do. Maxie has travelled the world with his surfboard and got into the water in some of the most beautiful locations on our lovely planet.
He’s been in some of the most remote parts of Indonesia, Mexico, Australia and Mentawaii over the last five years and he’s done something very cool; he’s filmed his travels and made a short film about it called ‘A Letter to Home’.
Maxi explained why he decided to make the video: “Many of my Irish friends travel and as usual people ask “how was your trip”. You can never tell them the real experiences that you had. So I thought I would share my story from the lens of my camera, it’s just a little more off the beaten track.”
Anyone who is into surfing or travelling in general needs to see this, it’s pretty incredible stuff…
