You may remember a few months ago when we brought you the news that Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere sent a message of support to Cork hurler and footballer Jamie Wall.
The Kilbrittain man was an integral part of Cork’s minor ranks and starred in their 2010 Munster championship success before a devastating spinal abscess confined him to a wheelchair last year.
A group of final year media students in Mary’s Immaculate College went one better though after they interviewed Jamie and his family to get their story following this tragic setback.
This short documentary is an incredible testament to Jamie’s courage and mental strength in the face of severe adversity .
Set aside a bit of time because this is worth it.
