Hartlepool’s most famous fan wasn’t bitter at all after their Cup exit.
Jeff Stelling can rule out hosting Match of the Day any time soon after having a go at the BBC for their coverage of his beloved Hartlepool’s FA Cup exit at the hands of Blyth Spartans.
Stelling wasn’t happy that Alan Shearer was in the non league side’s dressing room to offer encouragement before the game, insisting that there are licence payers in Hartlepool too.
Not. bitter. at all.
He went on to pledge his undying allegiance to Sky, which undoubtedly means he’ll be joining Real Madrid in the January transfer window.
