Last years PFAI Player of the Year was in great form for the Saints against Finn Harps.

St Patrick’s Athletic booked their place in the FAI Cup final with a thumping 6-1 win over Finn Harps yesterday.

The Inchicore club haven’t lifted the cup since 1961 but theire place in the Aviva showpiece never looked in doubt yesterday as they brushed aside the Ballybofey  side with an emphatic win in front of their own crowd.

The Saints’ playmaker Killian Brennan set them on their way with this brilliantly taken free kick on 21 mins.

Goals from Sean Hoare, Christy Fagan and a brace from Conan Byrne also helped give the champions a commanding lead but Brennan’s second goal is a superb effort also.

Take a look at the composure and finish for his second goal on 65 minutes

Liam Buckley’s men will take on the winner of the replay between Shamrock Rovers and Derry City after their semi-final ended in a 1-1 draw in Tallaght.
