Danish speedway racer Mikkel Michelsen is a very lucky man as he emerged relatively unscathed from this horror crash.
Racing for his team Eastbourne in the speedway event against Leicester, he lost control of the bike on the second corner and this happened….

Despite the seriousness of the crash, the good news is that Michelsen was able to walk away from the accident and escaped any serious injury.
Perhaps Mikkel should now buy a lottery ticket…..
