Let's just say emotions boiled over a bit here...
Richard Sherman is one of the most talented cornerbacks in the NFL and he's also one of the most controversial and out-spoken guys in the game right now. The Seattle Seahawks returned to pre-season training this week and after last year's Superbowl win, the players are out to prove their worth but things got a little out of hand yesterday. Sherman and wide receiver Phil Bates got a bit hot under the collar during a play. It's hard to see how it escalated but fists started flying and the whole team had to get involved to separate them... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GOsbIgU9V3s Some coaches would be delighted to see this kind of intensity during a training session and Seahawks coach Pete Carroll took the two lads to one side to have a chat about it and everything was cooled down.
