Let’s just say emotions boiled over a bit here…
Richard Sherman is one of the most talented cornerbacks in the NFL and he’s also one of the most controversial and out-spoken guys in the game right now. The Seattle Seahawks returned to pre-season training this week and after last year’s Superbowl win, the players are out to prove their worth but things got a little out of hand yesterday.
Sherman and wide receiver Phil Bates got a bit hot under the collar during a play. It’s hard to see how it escalated but fists started flying and the whole team had to get involved to separate them…

Some coaches would be delighted to see this kind of intensity during a training session and Seahawks coach Pete Carroll took the two lads to one side to have a chat about it and everything was cooled down. So much so that the two were seen laughing about the scuffle later in the session.
Hat-tip to Bleacher Report.
