What better way to motivate the lads than a speech from the Irish assistant manager himself?
Roy Keane has been in the headlines quite a lot recently and it hasn’t always been for the right reasons but the Irish assistant manager doesn’t always get the credit for the good deeds he does behind the scenes that don’t always get noticed.
Recently, Keane met with the Irish Amputee Football squad to give them a bit of a pep-talk before their trip to Mexico for the Amputee Football World Cup, which starts at the end of this month.
Keane’s speech features at the start of a video that gives an insight into the team’s preparations before the tournament, where they will attempt to get out of a group that includes Brazil, Ukraine and Uzbekistan before hopefully going onto bigger and better things.
