Hibernians’ David Gray scored an injury time winner in today’s Scottish FA Cup final to help his side to seal a 3-2 win over Rangers.
Gray added to a brace scored by Ireland’s Anthony Stokes, resulting in a massive pitch invasion that saw half of Hampden Park swarmed by Hibs’ fans.
Mounted police stood with their horses on the pitch’s halfway line in order to maintain some kind of order. Commentators complained of the behaviour referring to it as a ‘throwback to football’s dark ages’.
Plenty of people captured the carnage on video, and it’s all over social media:

"It might well be remembered for the wrong reasons" Rangers and Hibs fans come together on the pitch at full-time. https://t.co/nSPJgGzmLy

Footage also emerged of a steward half-heartedly kicking out at a fan running onto the pitch.
