In his last UFC fight, in Boston last August, McGregor used Sinead O’Connor’s version of ‘She Moved Through The Fair’ for the first part of his walk-on and it looks like the hauntingly brilliant voice of the Irish singer will feature again tomorrow night. McGregor plays a snippet of O’Connor’s collaboration with The Chieftains, a stunning version of the classic ‘The Foggy Dew’.
From the purity of O’Connor’s voice to the thumping beat, it is an awesome call to arms, so we can see why McGregor likes it and it should lift the roof of the O2 if he goes ahead with his decision.
