UFC Fight Night Dublin comes to the O2 this weekend and the whole country seems to be watching on, waiting to see what will unfold in the Octagon on Saturday night. Conor McGregor v Diego Brandao is the headline fight but there’s plenty of other top class bouts and brilliant characters on the undercard.
Gunnar Nelson is one of our favourite fighters in action on the night; the Icelandic beast trains with John Kavanagh in the SBG Gym in Dublin and considers Ireland his second home. He’s undefeated in his professional career and takes on former Ultimate Fighter star Zak Cummings on Saturday.
‘Gunni’ is one of the coolest characters in the game and the UFC have released a fly-on-the-wall video following him around Dublin; it’s a really great insight into the guy.
