Andy Lee pulled off an unlikely victory over John Jackson in spectacular fashion in New York last night. Lee was under pressure for most of the fight and was knocked to the floor himself in the first round, but he regained his composure and started to move better in the next few rounds.
The fifth round is where it ended, Lee looked to be in trouble as Jackson had him up against the ropes, the Irishman moved away but Jackson felt he was there for the taking, then out of nowhere Lee throw a part uppercut, part hook off his right hand and it was lights out for his opponent.

The fight was Lee’s first at Junior Middleweight and the win saw him crowned the NABF light middleweight champion.
