Vine: It looks like Roy Keane knew what he was talking about all along…

As our biased friend from Cork used to say, “always trust a Corkman.”

Following Luis Suarez’s masterclass in fantastic finishing against England last night, a number of fans were quick to point out that Ireland Assistant Manager and Manchester United legend Roy Keane may know what he’s talking about when it comes to this football malarkey.

Liverpool striker Suarez left England on the brink of a World Cup exit as his brace gave Uruguay a 2-1 victory in Sao Paulo and, after the match was over, many people took to Twitter to remind England fans that, after Keano claimed that Roy Hodgson’s team would struggle in Brazil, his ITV colleagues Steven Gerrard, Lee Dixon and Adrian Chiles all sat back and laughed.

We can’t imagine that they’re laughing too much now…
