Munster came away with the spoils in Thomand Park yesterday when they defeated Leinster on a scoreline of 29-17.
Despite Leinster taking an early lead, a rampaging Munster stormed back into the game with tries from Simon Zebo, Ronan O’Mahoney, Tommy O’Donnell and CJ Stander to earn themselves the victory and top position in the Guinness PRO12.
The game was overseen by Nigel Owens, who dealt with communication issues between himself and his assistants early on, but managed to let the game ebb and flow for the most part.
Cian Healy got on the wrong side of Owens in the first half when he gave away a penalty for infringing at ruck time.
To which Owens quipped a classic line…
