Over 300 vehicles detected speeding in first 10 hours of national ‘Slow Down’ operation

One vehicle in Meath was detected at 140km/h. From 7am this morning (21 October), there is a 24-hour National Slow Down enforcement campaign in operation. By ten hours in to the operation, An Garda Síochána and GoSafe checked the speed of 144,460 vehicles. Of those vehicles, it was detected that 316 vehicles travelling in excess […]
