Man and Machine.
Titanfall 2 is almost upon us, and we’re getting pretty excited. The game is a follow-up to the hugely impressive 2014 release, so we’re going to delve in to some aspects that set it apart from it’s predecessor to whet your appetite.
It’s now got a single-player campaign.
For the first time, the game will have a fully-fledged single player story. Gamers will get to play as Rifleman Jack Cooper and his new Titan comrade BT-7274 as they battle off some really evil aliens.
The Titanfall 2 developers previously brought us the Call of Duty franchise, so we know they’ve got the storytelling chops.

You can go anywhere you want.
The first game was praised for its slick graphics and its movement controls, and Titanfall 2 builds on that.
With a bigger emphasis on wall-running and jumping, you’ll be racing all over the map. The linear single-player levels will also allow you to approach them with any play-style you fancy.
There are loads of Titans.
Prepare yourself, because we at JOE.ie are going to be going into depth about each of the playable Titans available in the game in the next few days.
For now rest assured that the new addition of six Titans (two heavy, two medium, two light) means that you’ll have way more to choose from, and it’s guaranteed to be a more balanced experience.
There’s more customisation than ever.
Everything from your Titans load-out, its appearance and its weapons are all customisable. There’s LMGs, big aul grenade launchers, shotguns, sniper rifles and beam weapons – to name a few.
You can even customise the animation you use when performing a takedown on an enemy pilot. Whopper.
The pilots are as fun as the Titans.
Don’t expect to be spending all your time inside a giant robot.
While the mech warriors might be the star of the show, there’s plenty of action to be had at the mere human-sized scale we’re all used to. You’ll still make a huge impact online without your Titan.

This game is building off a really solid foundation, and seems to be doing plenty to keep evolving and growing their audience.
We can’t wait to play it.
Oh, and did we mention we might maybe possibly be giving you a chance to win a copy of the game along with another very special prize? Perhaps.
