A brilliant new music app is set to launch at Body & Soul

A cross between Shazam and Twitter

A cross between Shazam and Twitter.

Festival-goers everywhere should download this app.

Picture the scene… you’re at a festival watching a band and you haven’t a clue who they are.

You don’t want to ask all the cool people doing cool dances, as they’ll give you that look of disdain that will haunt you until the day you die.

So this is where the new music app called Muddy comes into play. Yes, Muddy.

At Body & Soul, Muddy will enable festival-goers to explore their musical curiosity as they discover new music and new acts all weekend.

Once users discover who is playing live right in front of them, Muddy will direct them to the act’s profile where they can learn even more about the artist.

From seeing all their upcoming gigs to sending them direct messages, everything you need to know about your new favourite artist is available right at your finger tips.

Designed by two Irish music lovers, Ian Henderson and Rob Beresford, this app is a game changer.

Rob Beresford said, “for the launch of Muddy we wanted to partner with a festival that has musical discovery at its core. Body & Soul was the obvious choice for an app that is all about discovering new artists at live events. It was important to launch it at a festival that offers festival goers the chance to discover new music acts and genres all weekend.”

We’re just really relieved that an app which is pitched as a cross between Shazam and Twitter was not called Shitter.

Muddy is available to download via iTunes and an Android version is in the works too.
