A ridiculous amount of people used Facebook in its biggest ever day of traffic on Monday
Something tells us not a whole lot of work was done on Monday.
We all know people who can’t go a minute or an hour, let alone a day, without logging into their Facebook account, so it’s perhaps no surprise they reached a significant milestone this week.
On Monday, over one billion people visited the social media site in a single day for the first time in Facebook’s history.
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg celebrated the fact that one in seven people in the entire world logged onto a site he created with a Facebook post last night and a little video was even made to mark the occasion.
Of course, by either liking something, poking someone, posting every single picture of your baby or checking out what that attractive former classmate of yours is up to these days, we can all feel we had a part to play in Facebook's success.
Pats on the back all round folks.
