The American rapper Daz Dillinger has apparently sent Rockstar a cease and desist letter after they used two of his tracks on GTA V ‘without his permission’.

According to reports from TMZ, Daz Dillinger, a former member of the rap group Dogg Pound, is claiming that Rockstar offered him an “offensively low offer of $4,271.00 [to use two of his] songs” but when he rejected the offer Rockstar used the songs anyway.

Now he has given the video games company an ultimatum; either make him a MUCH better offer, or destroy ALL remaining copies of GTA V. Like that’s going to happen…

Speaking to TMZ, Dillinger said it was all about “respecting an artist’s work. Rockstar didn’t do that here and I can’t let them get away with it.” Dillinger and his attorneys have given Rockstar two weeks to make a deal or recall the remaining copies of GTA V.

You can listen to the two songs in question, “C-Walk” and “Nothin’ But the Cavi Hit”, below.
