Kiss goodbye to whatever pretensions of productivity you had, classic Mario is here to fill your day
So you woke up this morning and thought to yourself “today is the day I finally start that novel that I’ve been working on” or “I’m going to prove that pigeon who’s been sitting outside my office window and staring me out of it wrong, I’m not a slacker”. Well tough luck, because it turns out there’s a webpage where you can play the classic video game Mario Bros. in its entirety, so that’s the end of that. The pigeon was right.
Not only can you play the game using just your keyboard and your internet Bowser (see what we did there?) of choice, but you can also edit the levels to make it more challenging, complete with the original sound effects and music. We’ll be whistling that theme tune all day…
Head over to Full Screen Mario and check it out, and be prepared to lose at the very least the majority of your afternoon. Don’t say we didn’t warn you though, this is powerfully addictive stuff.
