A German cloud computing company has come up with a very novel idea which is basically a win-win for all concerned.

Cloud & Heat is a cloud infrastructure company that is offering its servers to people who want to store them in exchange for free heat in their homes and/or offices. Busy servers emit a serious amount of heat and companies with a lot of servers have to spend a lot of money in order to keep them cool.

So they have decided that they could offer the storage to the public in exchange for free heat. All you have to do is pay for a Cloud & Heat fire-proof cabinet, which equates to the same price as a standard heating system. The difference here is that, once it’s installed, the heat cost is free. No bills from there on in.

David Hasselhoff Portrait Session And Book Signing At Book Soup

In the summer you can stick the cabinets outside as they can vent in the open air and that way you won’t melt into a pool of water as you sit indoors watching David Hasselhoff (pictured above) videos.

In fairness, it’s hard not to melt into a pool of water in any conditions when you are watching the Hoff, aka. German’s adopted son, in full flow. He be so dreamy.
