Feast your dirty, dirty eyes.
Gears Of War 5, Borderlands 3, Rage 2, Splinter Cell and Assassin’s Creed have all been leaked ahead of E3 by Walmart.
Great job, guys.
Walmart Canada accidentally listed a series of titles in what is probably the largest leak in gaming history. Triple A titles abound in Gears Of War 5, Borderlands 3, Rage 2, Splinter Cell, a new Assassin’s Creed and Just Cause 4.
No new Sony or Nintendo releases were included, but the retailer seems to have pre-empted essentially every possible major announcement at upcoming E3. The only details included on the sales page of Walmart Canada were titles and formats, but they’re listed below.
Games leaked by Walmart before E3
- Assassin’s Creed (XO/PS4)
- Splinter Cell (XO/PS4)
- Just Cause 4 (XO/PS4)
- Destiny Comet (XO/PS4)
- Borderlands 3 (XO/PS4)
- Lego DC Villains (XO/PS4)
- Rage 2 (XO/PS4)
- Dragon Quest 2 (XO/PS4)
- Forza Horizon 5 (XO)
- The Division 2 (XO/PS4)
- Gears Of War 5 (XO)
Other games listed, but previously known about, were Dreams (PS4), Beyond Good And Evil 2 (XO/PS4), Final Fantasy VII Remake (XO/PS4), WWE 2K19 (XO/PS4), Insurgency: Sandstorm (XO/PS4), The Last Of Us Part II (PS4), Metroid Prime 4 (NS), NBA 2K19 (XO/PS4/NS) and Super Smash Bros. (NS).
Gears of War 5 is probably the standout of the bunch but still, it is just a rumour from a tweet.
That doesn’t mean we can’t be nostalgic.
